EN copy vehicles

Preamble

There is the possibility to copy datasets with the icon in three master data dialogues (cards, vehicles and drivers).

Pre-conditions

• To copy a dataset is only reasonable if name, description, number plate or card identification include parts which are fixed and the same in every dataset and parts which can be exchanged with ascending numbers.

E.x.: all vehicles belong to one company and the vehicle plate number always begins with "AA-BB" and only the number is changing.

• One dataset has to be created and recorded completely as a copy source/original or copy base.

Copy process

• clicking and marking the dataset which shall be copied

• clicking the icon

• The window for the copy process opens

• Number: how often shall be copied
• Vehicle: display of the vehicle plate number which shall be copied
• Reg.No: display of the copy template. This row has to be edited. See below.
• No to start: the first number to start the copying with, in this case with which vehicle number the copying shall be started
• for PAN: with which number in the plate number shall be started

• Kopiereinstellungen

• Number: 50 times the selected vehicle with the number 2
• Reg.No.: plate number begins always with "AA-BB" followed by a two digit number (therefore two times * as placeholder for the new numbers) --> AA-BB **
• No to start: the next number is 3 and the copying shall start with 3
• for PAN: 3, because vehicle number = plate number

• Result
