EN average purchase price
Preamble
The average purchase price (in short APP) is needed in Autopoll as base data for the filling station statistic and the customer statistic. The APP is the only option to calculate the costs when using tanks, which are normally not being emptied completely before a delivery and which contain products which are mixed during the delivery
Requirements
- The APP can be managed/handled in Autopoll BASIS. For the usage of the APP in the filling station statistic and the customer statistic Autopoll is needed as PLUS variant.
- While booking the first delivery on the corresponding tank enter the real purchase price in the APP too (APP initialisation).
- While booking every delivery on the corresponding tank afterwards only the real purchase price has to be entered. The APP will be calculated automatically and should not be entered manually.
- No negative stock levels are allowed. The APP can't be calculated properly with negative stock levels.

- Stock level on the 01.01.2019: 0 Liter
- 1st delivery 03.01.2019: 20000 Liter with a price of 1,000 Euro
- Fillings/Sales till the 07.01.2019: 8000 Liter
- 2nd delivery 10.01.2019: 10000 Liter with a price of 1,100 Euro
Calcualtions
((stock before delivery * old APP) + (delivered volume * purchase price)) : stock after delivery = new APP
- APP on 01.01.2019: 0 * 0,000 = 0,000 : 0 = 0,000
- APP on 03.01.2019: 20000 * 1,000 = 20000,00 : 20000 = 1,000 (APP initialisation)
- APP on 10.01.2019: (12000 * 1,000 = 12000,00) + (10000 * 1,100 = 11000,00) = 23000 : 22000 = 1,045

1st delivery
When booking the first delivery on the corresponding tank the real purchase price value has also to be enterd in the APP. This is the APP initialisation as base for the future APP calculations.
2nd delivery
When booking the following up deliveries the APP shall not be entered manually. The field APP remains empty till the delivery is stored. When storing the delivery the APP will be calculated and set automatically.
reopening of the 2nd delivery
When reopening the previously booked delivery the field "APP" is filled with the calculated APP.
