Preamble
Like companies and products, vehicles are the base for the work with Autopoll.

The vehicle administration is being opened over Data-Vehicles or with the icon

Vehicle administration
Vehicle master data
Number: unique vehicle number
Reg. No.: unique vehicle registration plate (recommendation: uniform structure of the vehicle registration plates). See import fillings
Description: vehicle description
Odometer R.: actual mileage or hours of operation. By creating a new vehicle the actual mileage or hours of operation have to be input manually. Afterwards higher values will be saved automatically after the polling of fillings.
max. ltrs. of oil: maximum filling of oil
Company: company selection. If a company can't be selected, it has to be created in advance. Details under companies
Cost Centre: if needed cost centre selection. If a cost centre can't be selected it has to be created in advance. Details under cost centre
Driver: if needed driver selection. Only drivers of the same company, which conduct this vehicle all the time. Details under card systems
Type: vehicle type. "self-learning" combobox, i.e. a new entered value can be chosen in another vehicle.
E-Mail: an email adress which is assigned to the vehicle. Details under terms
Consumption Report (lower left): Details under vehicle consumption analysis
Area (lower right): this table is required for the configuration of the vehicle in an access control system. The areas are being configured elsewhere in Autopoll. Details under access control system
Miscellaneous
- Fields on the left: These fields can be used for additional information and data which can be reported or exported in individual reports and/or exports, e.x. inventory number. The field name can be changed indivdually by double clicking the field name.
- Area upper right: administration of odometer exchanges of the selected vehicle. Details further below.
- Area "More vehicle information" lower right: The values are being used/analysed in the tool "fleet". Details under fleet
Odometer exchange
Das Register "Stammdaten" sollte eigentlich Master data heissen, übersetzt steht im Autopoll aber Master files.
The administration of odometer exchanges is very important if the vehicle consumption analysis is being used. Details under vehicle consumption analysis.
Date/Time: exact date and time when the odometer was exschanged
old odo. R.: last mileage or hours of operation of the old odometer
new odom. R.: first mileage or hours of operation of the new installed odometer
Fillings
Display of the fillings which have been assigned to the selected vehicle.
