EN cards allocations

Preamble

Beside real and virtual cards there is the possibility to create special cards in Autopoll which are only used to assign fillings but not to authorise fillings at the card reader. These special cards are called "allocations" in Autopoll. In difference to real cards, these allocation cards do not need a full card identification string and should be configured at each card reader (in Autopoll) that they are never been sent to the card readers.

Examples of use

Partial wildcard assignment

Situation: Fleet cards have been generally activated at the local card reader, e.x. DKV, so that these cards can fill there. Entering and transmitting these fleet cards in and from Autopoll is not necessary. Normally all cards which are used at the local card reader have to be entered and assigned to a vehicle or driver in Autopollso that the polled fillings can be assigned and processed, e.x. invoicing or exporting. With fleet cards the money flow is NOT being handled in Autopoll, so an individual assignment of each fleet card in Autopoll is not necessary. But if the fleet card fillings should be processed in Autopoll, e.x. exporting and/or analysing, then the fillings have to be assigned.

Solution: Because DKV fillings are always being made with card identification strings beginning with "7043" the following steps should be executed

• enter a company DKV

• enter a vehicle DKV and asign it to the above entered company DKV

• if necessary change the parameter "autopoll-ausweis-kennung-minlength" to e.x. 5

• activation of the card type "allocation"

• after the activation of this card type, the card type "allocation" has to be configured to "N" (never) in each card reader in Autopoll

• enter a new allocation card under Data-cards-Allocation

- number: recommended are 5 digit numbers e.x. 20000ff, so that the 4 digit numbers are being reserved for real and virtual cards

- PAN: 7043%

- allocate the vehicle DKV

Result: If all the above mentioned configurations are being done properly, all fillings of which the full card identification is not in the Autopoll database and which start with "7043" are being assigned to the vehicle DKV and can be processed.

Full wildcard assignment

Situation: Bei einigen österreichischen Lagerhäusern dient Autopoll nur als Datenpumpe zwischen dem Tankautomaten und der Warenwirtschaftssoftware. In der Regel werden die Tankautomaten mit Masterausweisen und gesperrten Ausweisen in Autopoll betrieben und nicht über zugeordnete, frei Ausweise. Details unter Ausweise/Ausweisverhalten am TA. Keiner der in Autopoll angelegten Ausweise ist einem Fahrzeug oder Fahrer zugeordnet. Da die Tankungen aber über einen Export an die Folgesoftware weitergeleitet werden müssen, müssen alle Tankungen zugeordnet werden.

Solution:

• enter only one company

• enter only one vehicle and assign it to the above entered company

• if necessary change the parameter "autopoll-ausweis-kennung-minlength" to 1

• activation of the card type "allocation"

• after the activation of this card type, the card type "allocation" has to be configured to "N" (never) in each card reader in Autopoll

• enter a new allocation card under Data-cards-Allocation

- allocate the single vehicle

Result: If all the above mentioned configurations are being done properly, all fillings, independently of which cards are being used, are being assigned to the only vehicle and can be processed. The follow-up ERP software will extract the company data, e.x. number, from the card identification string which is being exported with each filling.

More special assignments

assigned system cards

Situation: Bei einigen österreichischen Lagerhäusern dient Autopoll nur als Datenpumpe zwischen dem Tankautomaten und der Warenwirtschaftssoftware. Bei einem Export aus Autopoll heraus werden nur die Tankungen exportiert, die auch zugeordnet wurden.(Details unter Export Tankdaten) EC-Karten-Tankungen werden in der Regel nicht zugeordnet, da die Abrechnung außerhalb Autopolls abgewickelt wird. Um EC-Karten-Tankungen exportieren zu können, müssen diese EC-Karten-Tankungen auch zugeordnet werden.

Solution:

• enter a company EC

• enter a vehicle EC and asign it to the above entered company EC

• assign the system card 9994 "EC-ONLINECARD......" to the vehicle EC

Result: Wurden diese Einstellungen durchgeführt, werden alle EC-Karten-Tankungen dem Fahrzeug EC zugeordnet und können somit weiterverarbeitet werden. Im Export kann dann noch eingestellt werden, welche 19-stellige Ausweiskennung an Stelle von "EC-ONLINECARD......" verwendet werden soll. Die anschließende Warenwirtschaftssoftware entnimmt die Kundendaten aus der benutzten Ausweiskennung.

The same procedure can be done with cash-, credit card- or fleet card-fillings.
